Biography of Louis Gallois
Louis Gallois has served as chairman of the Supervisory Board of thePSA Peugeot Citroën Group since 2014. He began his career in the public sector at theTreasury Departmentin 1972, becoming Director General of Industry atthe Ministry of Industryin 1982 before being appointed Special Advisor atthe Ministry of Economy, Finance, and Privatizationin October 1986. He became Chairman and CEO ofSNECMAin 1989 and then ofAerospatialein 1992. He went on to lead theSNCFin 1996, a position he held until 2006. He then became CEO of theEADSGroup, a position he held until 2012. He was subsequently appointedCommissioner General for Investment, a role he held for two years.
